I am very sad but happy about something – Blog Statistics

I am going to be talking about something that is very near and dear to my heart. I didn’t think I would be revealing this to my blog audience so soon. I try to closely guard it because I’m not 100% proud of it. It is something that isn’t fully under my control, so bare with me while you read this… and please don’t poke fun.

Studio Lighting Resources - Videos, Diagrams, Photo walks and Photo shoots

So, now that I've decided to but some studio equipment, I thought I'd get a head start on learning all about that domain. I've been doing tons of reading, researching, watching and listening - Here is a catalogue of some of the sites and resources I have run across that I found very very useful.

Alien Bees Setup - Coming soon *Fingers Crossed*

Wow, it has been far too long since I posted anything here. My life for the past months has been - school, work, gym, homework, a bit of photography, eat and sleep. (Not exactly in that order, but you get the picture).

It's February, and in this part of Canada, it is one of the coldest and wettest months of the year. I would love to do another outdoor/nature photo shoot, but that will have to wait till it gets a little warmer.

Free e-Book - Taking Memorable Photographs - Marc Silber

Very basic, yet very insightful - Marc Silber's eBook and did I mention it's free. It's only 11 pages long, but is very well created. I love the typography in it.

He gives a few tips that are common sense, but most of us usually never think of. There are a few shots of his work in the eBook as well.

If you like the book, he has some great shots of his work in his portfolio. Very inspirational. Now if only I could decide on a DSLR and go shoot some stuff around the city.
